# Good Free CAD Software

I tried to download the Solidworks free trial but you need to fill out an application, does anyone know any other good trials or softwares that are free?

Solidworks is so much ridiculously better than the others that its very worth the application.

For the application, do you need to have a school who supports (is that the right word?) it?

For the School ID, use the promo code :wink: That’s what I did, and it worked.
