Looks nice!
But what really irritates me.
How long the string is.
Like, why not shorten the setup, so that way it’s like normal string length?
It would look less awkward.
And right now.
As nice as the style is, it looks awkward at best

How short should I make it? Is already about an inch from my belly button.

Hmm, it just looks like struggling to reach that loop.
Probably belly button.
Maybe lower than usual
I guess it’s just the style?

Yeah, it’s a bit awkward to reach the loop. Doing a few hand wraps seems to smooth it out.

This looks like a style I might eventually get into, after getting my 4A game back on track!

Yeah, it’s like, 4A tricks and 1A tricks. A lot of tricks can be replicated in 4A. The only really techy offstring can be done originally in this style. But, anything that involves a twist of string around the axle is totally new.

My production of videos was delayed by a broken basement door, trapping my yoyos inside. Also, lunch. But, I’m working on a new one, showing all the different mounts.

I just don’t get the super long string. Since it’s already doubled-over as a loop, each half of the loop doesn’t need to be the length of a regular string, does it? For example, in 4A even though you “close the loop” for a number of moves (like around-the-arm barrel rolls) you don’t have a string that’s twice as long.

I don’t have a swivel though.
And my setup is just a makeshift haha.
It is fun though!
The die I added made this style very interesting to play!
You guys should try it 🙂
And I gotta find me some longer string for regular Sumo
