My favorite thing about yo-yos is how they’ve helped me recover from video game addiction. They provide a physical outlet where I can learn new things, as well as unwind and destress. It’s opened up a whole new community to me, and I’ve even gotten some of my kids throwing as well! ---

Before my son was born, I used to either play guitar or video games to relax and recenter my thoughts. But since becoming a dad, it’s been challenging to find enough time to set up, sit down, and do those things without being interrupted. My favorite thing about yoyos is that they give instant access to the “state of Yo” throughout the day. Got a moment to unwind? Grab your yoyo and shoot some moons. When you’re done, put the yoyo back in your pocket and carry on. :yo-yo: ---

Will be putting either names or post numbers into a random generator and selecting 2 names. Will post here who won, packages will go out USPS priority after I get addresses =]. If the winners are international we might have to figure out a way to split shipping costs if its more than like $20 ---

It’s the perfect hybrid of art and function for me. I have or have had a lot of hobbies, and tend to be a collector of “stuff” for every hobby. Yoyo is the only one that I get just as much joy out of looking at the gear as I do playing with it. There’s just such a huge variety and every throw is its own work of art. ---

My favorite thing is probably the variety in design. In a certain sense yo-yos are a pretty well “solved” problem in that you can make a yo-yo perform really well but there’s all sorts of little details in tuning performance a certain way and meeting aesthetic goals that make it really interesting. ---

One of my favorite things about yo-yo is the constant challenge and learning experience. There are endless tricks and combinations to learn, and even when you master one, there is always room for improvement and new variations. It keeps me engaged and motivated to keep practicing and improving my skills. Additionally, the yo-yo community is so inclusive and supportive, making it a fun and welcoming hobby to be a part of. ---

My favorite thing about yoyo. Is how relaxing it is. Very easy to forget about the stress of the day while playing with yoyos. Almost a zen thing. ---

Just want to take a second to thank everyone for participating here. Was awesome reading why people love yoyo. My favorite part about yoyo is the community. I really enjoy the time I spend on these forums, I enjoy the time I’ve spent at DXL crew, and I look forward to going to Worlds in Cleveland next year to meet more of you. My second favorite part of yoyo is actually playing yoyo. There is nothing in this existence like being locked in a flow state, and yoyo unlocks that for me like few other hobbies ever have. Third favorite part is the physical objects, the yoyos are a perferct intersection of design, engineering, and art and I love having a small collection of functional art to display on my walls. ---
