I’m really looking forward to it - I was a bit sceptical about all the One Drop hype before, but now I get it. I’ve also got another Kuntosh 5000QV (different colourway), OG Kuntosh and a Parlay on the way… I guess my days of buying cheap throws are over 🤑 ---

I have to admit, I still really like a few of my cheap yoyos though - the MYY V4, Auldey Orbis and TopYo Silenus spring to mind. They may not have the premium feel of the Kuntosh, but the price to performance ratio is outstanding. ---

Agreed! I do love some of my more premium (well $100 yoyos) throws but I equally love cheaper ones too for different reasons. 😁 Fortunately this hobby isn’t just about how much money you have 😊 and there is nothing stopping anyone from enjoying the hobby no matter what your budget is ---

Does anyone have a smooth art throw? Just got my second throw from art and I would say the smoothness is 7/10 and the first one was 8/10. I tried flipping the axles, replacing the bearing, and resiliconing and nothing seems to help. ---

The A-grade Grails I’ve owned all have a little fingernail vibe. I would say 9.5/10 smooth. Even the B-grade Triptych I had was 8.5/10 smooth. I recently half swapped two Grails and both became near dead smooth. Go figure. 7/10 sounds not smooth enough. ---

Yeah just picked up one someone said had a hint of vibe and I would put it at 7/10 maybe 7.5. Both informed me they were A grades. ---

I’ve never played a perfectly smooth A-RT. I think it has something with the bearing seat being more loose. Ironically, the smoothest A-RT I’ve played was dinged and scuffed pretty bad. ---

Then there is the point where you stop learning for a while, and smooth out what you know, basically your core. I am aware of a professional musician and teacher who suggested this. I prefer this to learning new things, but new things happen in the smoothing out stage. ---
