Trying to decide if I want to make a big splurge on a few yos or not atm. Been a very long couple of months and I’ve recently been pretty sick (had to visit the hospital) and in super bad pain… But I’ve taken some huge strides in making my future better for myself (more productive & meaningful)…I could really use a break! After doing some calculating, I can afford it. I would leave out the EndGame. I know everyone who touched one said it was great, but the D2 and Magpie have lingering fans around the community and the EndGame just sort of fizzled after the initial hype. Green/Silver Fade Fool’s Gold Kodiak is still available on the CLYW site, and even with the shipping would be less than the EndGame. I have had two FG Kodiaks and they are fantastic. Super regret destroying one and selling the other. ---

OR! The Inferno Yoyos SONAR is also available in a black w/ green splash. If you get that or the Kodiak and absolutely hate them, I will pledge to buy them from you forthright, lol. ---

Do you think the endgame was just all hype then? I only have 1 yo that I would consider a “pure performance/competition” throw and that’s my banshee. I have others that perform super well…don’t get me wrong, but… lol now that I’m trying to explain it in words…I’m not able to! At any rate I have lots of throws that are fun to throw around…but just the 1 pure competition. Not even going to try and explain haha! I’d REALLY like to add another…and it seems like the EndGame fits that perfectly. It helps that I LOVE the colors of it and I’d really like to add another high performing green bi-metal to the collection. It’s just got so much going for it through my dreamy eyes lol. Awesome that you’re giving me suggestions! I appreciate it! I’m still tossing things back and forth on pulling the trigger here or not lol. ---

Also, I have $50-$65 to play around with on this list if I take away the loop 2020/legend/string/pouch…so maybe I should just pick up another green metal instead of those haha. I’m open to suggestions. Bonus if it’s for sale on yoyoexpert…and it’s gotta be green. I’m not a fan of splashes or acid washes…though I don’t mind certain fades. ---

What are your thoughts on the Roost? I love the color and think the engraving is really cute…but the weird shape is throwing me off lol. I know that’s ridiculous to base my thoughts on without actually feeling it in hand and playing with it first though. ---

I’m kinda stuck on the Magpie…been hoovering at the top of my wish list since I first saw it a couple of months ago. The shade of green is amazing in my eyes and I love the shape. It’d be my first yoyofriends throw as well and it’s always nice to add something new to the collection. I’m pretty stuck on the EndGame too. ---

A Mid-Sized H/ W/ Organicish Bi-Metal with a small bearing. Should be a ripper, fast acceleration, nimble and long spinning. Looking forward to playing it, these just dropped and they’re almost gone. ---

Im biased because I love the Edge so much, but that (semi)new green Edge is pretty sweet looking 🙂 Edit: also, I’d think you’d like the Edge considering you’re such a fan of the Terrarian. Seem really similar on shape to me. ---

For sure! It’s one of the nicer looking greens I’ve seen TBH. I know a lot of people don’t like gold weight rings, but I love them paired with green. It’s up there on my wish list…but at the same time I’ve got lots of YYF throws atm and am hoping to branch out and try new things for a bit. And I also feel like the green/gold edge will be available for a good long while…or pretty easy to track down through a BST. So there’s no huge rush on it right now. ---

The Diffraction 2 is one of the most beautiful green fades I’ve ever seen. I have NO idea why it’s taken me so long to pick one up. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the EndGame. And it checks so many marks for a throw I’m looking for right now. The Magpie has been at the very top of my list for awhile now. And the Rooster wasn’t even really on my radar till just now haha.
