This is an insane time of year for USPS. Iām honestly amazed at how good a job they do on regular basis for the rest of the year. The holiday time, things move into over-drive and a system thatās normally under-capacity is pushed to over-capacity.
The bad thing is that this is one of well over a billion items of mail processed daily right now. The good thing is that this is a box of some weight and size. Itās easier to find a box than a letter.
Iām sure it will turn up somewhere. Probably soon. Iām hoping for the best.
However, if we see someone on BST or Ebay selling lots of General Yo M10ās, well, that might be a red flag of āUh, I think we found our problem!ā
In my case, my postal carrier knows whatās in my packages and that Iām a yoyo enthusiast. It gets my stuff here safely!!
Iām sure now that the numbers are posted, most everyone knows the answer to this, but just in case:
Purple Sage and Blue Love are the rarest out of the normal options that were available here with 25 of each being made. Orange Boo would be next with 26 made, then Blue Mist with 28.
But, the rarest out of all of them is the Solid Light Blue with only 1 made, next are the unengraved versions with 2-3 of each, then the Solid Dark Blue with 5 of each, then the pre-productionās and BLCās with 10 of each. This is in case someone didnāt see the numbers posted on General-Yoās website ;D
^^^
Not to confuse these with the production numbers posted.
I always have testing stuff after a run, I donāt count them in my number posting.
In most cases I give them out to friends, or in this case the community of throwers out there I am happy to be apart of
Donāt want to start a witch hunt, but itās certainly suspicious. If this is someone here or a misunderstanding let me know and iāll delete this post right away.
Screenshots just in case the listings get deleted:
After more research i believe the shop selling them is probably legitimate, but possibly unaware of what they have or selling them on commission or something for a customer, iām not sure, i PMād Ernie with more info and hopefully he can get to the bottom of it. Surely a long-running business(14 years on eBay) wouldnāt risk everything just to knowingly sell some stolen yoyos, so iād ask people to not send any messages to the seller or otherwise notify them, especially not until Ernie has had a chance to contact them.
Itās definitely fishy, b/c theyāre selling for so much less than he would had paid for them. But it seems to be a decent R/C Hobbystore. There website is hobbymasters.com I believe, I looked around there and they seem legit. Maybe someone sold them to him and he doesnāt know anything about he missing shipment, but, then again, maybe he does.
And the shop that has them is in MASS., Yoyoexpert said that their local usps lost the box, so that would be in MASS, where Yoyoexpert is. I wonder if the store that has them is located near Yoyoexpert. If so, Andre or someone could just go and have a look his self. He should take two sunset trajectoryās with him, however, just in case things get heated :-\
I contacted the hobby store, and Andre.
The hobby store is now aware that they have stolen property.
He is being very helpful, and we will get to the bottom of this.
Authorities will be notified.
Thank you everyone for looking out for us!
The yoyo community is awesome
Yay! Iām glad they turned up and that it is being taken care of. I was just coming to post this in the thread and saw that someone had already given the heads up. Glad the place is cooperating.
