So I picked up one of the non engraved purple Respawns last week. Wanted to wait a few days to get some time with it. But I really like this yoyo! Iām primarily a responsive yoyo player, so I eventually buy most responsive yoyos that come to the market. This is one that Iāll be hanging on to.
What I really love about it is how āneutralā and balanced it is. By neutral I mean itās not too heavily rim weighted, not too much center weight. When you do kickflips it feels like itās got the perfect amount of weight right where you need it to get it to flip. I get get it to go off axis when I want, but it doesnāt want to tilt or move around on itās own. The walls are perfectly high, yet the gap isnāt too narrow or too wide.
If youāre into modern 0A play Iād highly suggest getting a Respawn on the next drop, or searching one out. My main 0A players now are: Alleycat (both OG and 650b), Daytona SB Highwall and the Respawn. Between these four yoyos I really feel that if I never bought another responsive yoyo Iād never lack or want for something else. The Respawn hit a area that is different enough in feel and play from these other three that I think if you love the other three I mentioned youāre going to love the Respawn as well.

The berries and cream splash is quite lovely. The thing is, I have a strong preference for solid finishes, and brown would āfitā perfectly color-wise with my other slimline responsives. But if I got desperate enough, berries and cream would probably be my first (alternate) choice.

So I kept hitting browser refresh every couple of seconds on the G2 site, and when the Andromeda drop appeared on the page, it appeared with all units already sold out. Can someone explain how that happens?

Talked with the webmaster he told me thereās a way for me to clear the cache on our end when I set a drop that should help with this.

You can always try to open an incognito or private window. It shouldnāt have a cache so you should be getting what the server is pushing out.

Last couple drops ie. Retirement wolf and andromeda respawn I wasnt quick enough either. I did the same thing. Refresh until it popped up. Once I saw them they were either out of stock or went out of stock before I went to paypal.
I wonder if guys are using bots for these drops lol
