YoyoJam has yet to do a Collab. While it would be great to have a Collab with the top over hyped brands, it will be hard to convince them, especially when Spyy, CLYW, One Drop have already done a Collab.

I’m not sure what you’re saying here. :wink: Which brands are the over hyped ones, and which are the ones that will be hard to convince? And is the track record of collaboration for the companies you mentioned something that is more likely to have them collaborate again (I tend to agree) or less likely (not sure why you’d draw that conclusion)?

While you can’t go wrong with OD, CLYW, RecRev or one of the bigger manufacturers, I’d rather see G2 work with TenYoYo. Take a unique and/or crazy design from TenYoYo and the smooth play, weight rings, and precision of a G2.

Although I did suggest the companies I’d like to see in a collaboration, I generally also think that G Squared is doing gangbusters with their own designs. No “need” for a collaboration!
That said, there’s nothing saying a collaboration has to be a combination of existing designs. A collaboration is two companies coming together to create one product. The Galactic Goose wasn’t a combination of pre-existing yoyos, but is still a collaboration between CLYW and SPYY.
