Consider that lots of people genuinely like the DNA and think fingerspin are fun and cool. Even if just a joke, it’s not exactly funny to just have somebody regularly posting about how much they dislike something you personally enjoy.

Oh, I get it, and I don’t actually hate the DNA. I’m still working on my unresponsive DNA! It’s become more of an inside joke, though I can see your point.

As someone who still can’t land a DNA but keeps trying and thinks all yo-yos should have a fingerspin dimple, I still find the DNA memes hilarious. It was a DNA Reel that relaunched my passion for yo-yos and took me from the Responsive Only, Rock the Baby, Round the World, Walk the Dog to where I am today. Bring on the DNA - and the DNA Memes!

Nah, man. If I take a joke too far and offend someone, I have to rectify that behavior. I don’t mean to start any controversy here, or anything like that, and I don’t want people trashing on anyone who has the right to say they feel offended.
I’ll leave it at that. If _ **ANY** _ of my jokes cross a line, I expect people to let me know so I don’t do it again.
Many here know, or have at least figured out, that I’m neurodivergent. I would expect the same courtesy shown to me if something offended me. Back in my days of working in the tabletop industry I coined a phrase that I try to live by. You Are Welcome at My Table (I sold merch for that as well. Who’d have guessed?)
Yes, I like to poke fun. It’s _NOT_ fun for me anymore when someone has the guts to tell me it’s not fun for them. I also don’t want people thinking I’m gatekeeping by joking about the DNA. We play with yo-yos, and people can play with them and enjoy them how they like!
There are plenty of other memes to be made!
