I did.
She needed some tires on a cut because she jacked up the ones in the front of her vehicle.
She has a child and she’s a working mom and needs her vehicle to run a lot of errands.
I like good stories.
My first thought was to wait because I knew it would sell pretty quick. The problem is I knew this was a time sensitive situation and since I don’t have a crystal ball, I figured the faster it sold the faster she could get her tires.
Somewhat interesting to me at least, was that I have a flying lemon Proto that I bought directly from Glen when he was a little short in the financial department and needed some quick money to finance a project. So I helped him out to at that time.
The irony of this whole story brings to mind an old saying\> “Money does it grow on trees”…. Blah blah blah.
But lemons and limes grow on trees. And now I have less money, but I have a lemon and a lime, lol :joy:

It appears I am in this same boat. It’s the reason I asked. I received a DM to my post about missing the drop. I was asked if I wanted to buy it, the whole thing was facilitated, and then I paid. I got an acknowledgement the payment was received and then nothing. Sure hope the tires got fixed. At least I will choose to feel good about that. I’m not bummed about the money at all despite my situation… I’m just bummed because I really wanted a limey lemon… or at least a lemon. I guess I’ll just hope Chrisypoo can see better days and that a second run happens one day. I’m glad that at least someone actually got it @DocPop :heart:

Well… with the link to the scam alert as well as nearly a month of radio silence… I think I feel better saying I got scammed. The money isn’t even a big deal… I really wanted the yo-yo. Now I won’t be able to get another Lemon because my mind will automatically connect what I already spent to the new one. And then I just won’t be able to do it. That’s the real bummer. Anyways… nothing to be done about it so… moving on. Beware of the Chrisypoo.
