I feel like there aren’t enough contests every year to be so restrictive about it. You want to see the top competitors compete more often. Maybe they have a time conflict with their own regional and can’t go to it.
In my opinion, however, there should be an “open division” for out of region competitors instead. Or, you should only be able to compete in one regional every year, like in Japan.
Before, the seed to nationals was given to the top placing player in that region, which made sense. Now this has changed, which confuses me. Right now Hunter has seeds to national finals for both mwr and pnwr. It would make more sense for Levi to get a seed for mwr instead, or for both to get seeds.
