I agree, but in another way, I disagree. Would you rather read a book by yourself using your own mental “cast”, or would you want a person reading it to you, regardless whether or not they are a good reader? Would you watch a movie on the set or in the theater when it’s truly polished and done? Soul is subjective. It can also mean how much heart went into the piece behind the scenes. Fred Durst? ---

This topic reminds me of the horrible few minutes I spent watching the MTV music awards (what a joke) this year. A sibling was watching the event and I walked in during Chris Brown’s performance and man, I didn’t know today’s music has really went down that far. I’ve never been one to like rap, hiphop, or r&b but this was really a new level of bad. I don’t know how bad the rest of the performances of the night was, I didn’t watch… but if they were anywhere near as bad as that, I wouldn’t know what to think. Can’t expect much from MTV anyway. But remember guys, Fred Durst did it all for the Nookie. ---
