# Flowable silicone cure time

yes I know 12-24 hours, but more specifically. if i silicone my horizon at 8pm tonight, will it be safely usable by noon tomorrow?

In my opinion, it’s worth a try. The 24-hr thing is mainly to “cover your butt” and be EXTRA sure. But 16 hours should be pretty good.

Check if the silicone have been fully cured with your nail, usually it’s obvious compared to the uncured one (should be easy to tell if this is not your first time). Properly cured silicone is almost like rubber and will return to its original shape if lightly pressed with nail, uncured silicone will leave marks that won’t go away.
