# fixing the wasabi so the string wont snap

it got a pre-production wasabi in a trade today. it is in mint condition. i was told to use a 2 sided sponge to sand down the inner edges so that the string wont snap. does anyone know of any other ways to acomplish this?

The point is just to wear in the sides a bit. Anything that is tough, but not too rough will do the trick. A pair of jeans like mcrnja suggested would do nicely.
