# fixing my velocity

i have a YYF velocity and the inner ring with the response pads on it cracked (the part that moves inside to make the gap more narrow or wide when you turn the dial), so now when i throw my yoyo the crack hits the string and slows the yoyo down significantly and causes a rattling noise. has this happened to anyone on here before? anybody know what i could try to fix this?

Well, it happened to me on my original one.  
I emailed YYF and…they sent me response pads .\_.  
I don’t really want to ask again…
