Wooo that’s a good first choice! Everybody has different preferences, but I like using shorter string than I normally would for unresponsives, also cotton string breaks in really nicely and lasts a very long time! Go look at the fixed axle Friday section of yoyonews and there’s a ton of good learning material in there!

No doubt- I’ve been following the fixfri and see outrageous amounts of inspiration there.
Right now ice got it tied bellybutton to floor length.
Any maintenance info would be helpful for sure.(I like to think ahead)

I second using a shorter string than for unresponsive 1A. About an inch under my belly button keeps things snappy.

I hear mixed opinions on that model, but am glad I didn’t let any opinions affect my trigger pulling.

Not all of his work. He used a woodthread tap and box, a drill press, a band saw and likely a table saw too (among other peripherals such as bench grinder).
