Yep yep. This one is using @AudreySickburn pads and another 3d printed A size bearing of unknown material and questionable origin. Recently added another No Jive to my collection. This one has a glossy putter and a matte finish on the inner walls (when in the Imperial shape). I think it’s an early BC No Jive, but not really sure. Been throwing it all week, plays great. Wooden butterfly I picked up a while ago. Yours looks like it’s a matte finish all the way around. What era of standard no jive is like this? I have a 2013ish optic star that has a similar finish but I thought all later no jives where various laser artwork editions. ---

This is a clean machine (unfinished, no stamp) from 1998. I bought a box of 36 of them around 2009 or so and distributed to player friends. This is one of a few I kept. One of my fav players ---

It makes it hard to justify all the expensive wood yo-yos when the Duncan works for so much of the tricks I am working on. I still do find ways, but it’s hard :joy: ---

Fixed axle super post. Going through a bunch of fixies, so far these stand out as being better for me for doing shoot the moon. It’s a bit disheartening to discover it’s not the yo-yo end of the string that is the issue, but rather the finger end. Also that the 3 dollar yo-yo is probably still the best success I have had yet.
