How can you tell its a true 2022 mold? I notce the C2022 on the rear bottom, is that it? Did older ones
I was talking to @bjardin yesterday and he was saying it would be hard to tell via packaging because there are no “real” give aways.

It only has a 5 digit code AWHHY and not a six digit code that I remember @bjardin mentioned a while back for the new mold. So Im not really sure, but most of the Butterflys on the shelves I’ve come across this year had 2015 and 2017 copyright marks on the package, this is the first one Ive seen with a 2022. But it could still be Old Stock for all I know. AWFHY looks to be the codes however in the Psychedelic product photos.

its AWFHY for the psychfly’s and AWGHY for the latest freehand neo’s as well. AWHHY seems to be chronological, and the 2022 copyright date seems promising. i guess you can compare the size/weight when you get your psychs in.
57.25x32.8x51.9g, 2.65-2.7mm gap for me on the 4 psychs i have

Suction cup will work for the caps but I’m not sure if that will work without taking apart the butterfly all together first. Sorry man mine had already been taking apart completely but I don’t want you to do that if you don’t want to ya know? Maybe someone else knows a way for sure without taking it apart

I passed on the psychedelics but I’m gonna need to hoard a couple of those pastel purples (and a few pastel greens for good measure).

need that translucent purple too… can’t quite figure out what the magic is…the psychadelics just seem to be better performance wise… maybe its just in my head. but i literally took the stock string off my psychadelic i was loving ( short and fat enough that i could actually throw a few loops), put it on the older model red translucent, and it just didn’t play as nice as the psych… also, the weight is up about a gram on the newer psych vs my older butterfly.
