@Canspin65 - the mr85 bearings that I use have c clips that hold in the bearing shield. But if they are pressed in, I have removed those before too. You have you pierce them with a pin and then use the hole to leverage and pry them out. I wouldn’t worry too much about damaging the inside since you will be seizing the bearing anyways. Also note that you need to clean the bearing of any oil before gluing. Alternatively, you live in Ottawa yes?
