# Fixed axle Butterfly XT

Recently I’ve been really into modding XTs.I turned this one into a fixed axle and it plays really well!

There’s a hardware store right next to my house that I popped into and grabbed some plastic spacers that I cut just a hair shorter than a C bearing; About 1.5mm off. I used a zinc screw+bolt and added the rubber O-rings to add a bit of weight around the center and the rim.

It weighs about the same as a butterfly but plays much lighter. As soon as I want it to return I can just relax my play and the string gets caught nicely in it’s hang time.

Never would have crossed my mind to make an xt fixed. Looks awesome dude! Well done!!

How did you cut down the spacer? And any details on the bolt/nut you used?
