Depends what you’re looking for - modern YYR has both high performance models and some weirder stuff. Here’s what I own/remember trying, a couple of them I wrote reviews on: Upheaval/Upheaval Expansion - really good modern competition bimetal, not the most unique and you can generally find a similar equivalent from other brands Savage - stands out in the world of competition bi/trimetals, heavy and fast which is cool ([review here](https://forums.yoyoexpert.com/t/magicyoyo-z04-review-benm36-review-thread/408060/9)). It’s interesting to compare it to the Anceps. Both heavy and wide but approach it in different ways. Savage55 - plays lighter than the normal Savage, maybe a touch less powerful/stable Liminal Autoscopy - maybe the most stable yoyo I’ve played with, I’m really curious how the Re Autoscopy plays ([review here](https://forums.yoyoexpert.com/t/magicyoyo-z04-review-benm36-review-thread/408060/4)) Autoscopy - powerful, stable, not super unique in a way similar to the Upheaval Fluffy Fluffy - very fun and capable organic for its weight (59g) Empty - unique, super zippy and I like mine but not worth the cost ($120) for a 6061 and plastic hybrid Overdrive Draupnir - floatier than the Upheaval and slightly less powerful, not a bad yoyo but definitely one of the more eh in their lineup I personally haven’t seen cracking in any of the YYR models with plastic outer rings, it probably happens but it’s generally more likely with models like the Adrenaline --- _[View the full topic](https://forums.yoyoexpert.com/t/first-yoyorecreation-yoyo-recommendation/434186)._
