# First 5a yo-yo, help?

I have been doing 1a for 5 months, so I know how to bind. I would like to try 5a now. Any recommendations? Freehand Pro?

Grab a yoyo you have already that you don’t mind damaging, get or make a counter weight, and start throwing.

FHP would be my recommendation for learning. Don’t start on a metal yoyo, because you will be dropping it
