I’m new to the hobby but I wanted to start a thread dedicated to my absolute favorite - the plastic yoyo. I love it all, from the most inexpensive Butterfly XT or Spinstar to the lux Luftwerk. My current faves: Duncan Freehand Polycarbonate Luftwerk Fulvia iYoyo Shooting Star What’s the most iconic plastic? What amazing plastic releases did I miss before I got into throwing? I always loved the YoYoJam Kickside until I lost mine. Sad times. Also, shoutout to the Duncan Mosquito, the yo that got me into all this. ---

I’d say the YYF Replay Pro is pretty iconic. Favorite is still the Speedaholic XX. ---

I really think the Mowl Highwall has become my favorite plastic, with the DIY and Speedaholic XX to round out my top 3. ---

I don’t know about most iconic other than like OG freehands or Tiger sharks. But my favorite plastic will always be the YoYojam Lyn Fury. I used it for learning all sorts of 1a back in the day. And I used it for a local contest. Oh! Definitely iconic and my first favorite was the bumble bee. My favorite most recent plastic release is probably the Plastic Peak (also by Luftverk). It is a plastic yo-yo that actually throws almost like a metal yo-yo with its weight distribution - powerful and fun. I’m hoping they make more again soon. ---
