luckily I was lying in bed when I came across this photo, otherwise I would have fallen to the floor!!! The flames of YYN ed. they are something spectacular! The furthest to the right of all, next to orange/orange, what version is it? (the flames are a 1st run red/deep red… but the color of the upper half is very shaded)

Oh my God!!! This is the first time I’ve seen one and heard about it… it’s beautiful, shockingly beautiful!!! Do you have any other info? How many were made??? Where did you find a pearl of this extreme rarity and beauty??? I’ve never loved the Lights. For me, subverting the characteristics of an innovative yo-yo that broke all the mold while proving it was as enormously effective as the Pyro was a mistake, only because of requests from customers who perhaps couldn’t understand it. But the Light made for Katelyn Anton, with these two shades of pink, has always remained imprinted in my mind:
so imagine what it means today to see a similar color on a Pyro, a prototype at that!
For many years, there have been some yo-yos that I would have liked to have more than anything else, that I never managed to have, and that will almost certainly remain just dreams for me, but from today, first place is undoubtedly snatched by this one!!!
My biggest compliments and thank you for these two beautiful photos!!

When I got into yoyo a few years ago I started with organic and never really tried anything else. Parlay and Sudo are my favorites. I throw that blue Sudo the most.
I never throw it but this Parlay is really pretty

I’ve always post photos of my Pyro collection here on the forums and the “BST & Talk” Facebook group and other communities.
Then, one day while chatting with Chris on WhatsApp, he decided to send me a “gift” and asked for my address. When it arrived, I was completely blown away. He had sent me this prototype in recognition of the passion I’ve always had for this specific yo-yo model.
I’ve always wanted to own a few Pyros because the model holds the exact same significance for me that you described: they are yo-yos I couldn’t afford back then but can buy now as an adult—a childhood dream come true. Beyond that, I don’t have much information about it! I’ve seen another one in the “BST & Talk” Facebook group, but that one was marked “3,” whereas mine is “2.” And as you can see—if you zoom in on the photo of the gap—there are “pockets” on the inner wall to create the recessed profile. That’s a feature no production-model Pyro ever had. The phrase on the outer rim too: “What matters is what you can do with it while it’s spinning”.

Fantastic story, thanks for sharing. It was a heartfelt gift, but absolutely deserved!!!
If you ever get a chance, it would be interesting if you could measure the specs to see if and how much it differs from a production model (diameter, width, weight).

I have the complete Pyro OG (fat) collection. There are many editions of Pyro Light, and I only have two: the standard one (orange and purple) and the Ice Edition (gray and blue).
I put them together in the photo just to add some volume, hahaha

Awesome! I love to see an H-Spin. I picked up this NVx around 2011-ish and rarely throw it now because I’ve got no more pads after I burn through this pair. Flowable silicone tears right out, the groove is so shallow.. I’ve heard the red RTV silicone holds up but haven’t tried yet.
