I recently stumbled upon a yoyo forum called [extremespin.org](http://extremespin.org) where EVERY new post is spam, but when I went to old posts it was a normal yoyo forum, not a spam fest. What happened?

The owner apparently lost the ability or interest in keeping it running. It’s basically been taken over by spammers. It was getting fairly dormant in any event. At one time it was sponsored by a store called extremespin. Now defunct. One of the admins took it on as a private project to keep it running.
