# Engravings not matching up

As you can see, the laser engravings on the rim of my edge are slightly off when the yoyo is screwed together. Is this a design flaw or is it something not to worry about?

It’s normal. I’ve had 6 Edges, of which I think 2 had engravings that lined up.

Happens on my Duncan s too. They come in lined up,until if I take it apart to clean the bearing. The axel just screwed itself one way or the other. It’s normal, shouldn’t affect play at all( or enough to matter).

Another vote for “it’s normal”. Should be nothing to worry about since it’s purely cosmetic.

For efficiency, I strongly suspect the laser engraving happens with the yo-yos disassembled and in separate batches of left and right halves since the graphics are different per side.

I’m much more annoyed the fade doesn’t line up! 😆
