Why do some have the “made in china” but mine does not?

Maybe yours wasn’t made in China. i believe different runs were mad different areas, switching from china to usa and back.

Not necessarily good or bad. Just different.  
I believe the dv888’s were updated from place to place.

It depends when you got it.I recall the newer ones being made in china ,but the older runs made in usa. 🙂
