Ok so my dv888 started to become more responsive so I put thin lube on it and that made it worse. Now it’s completly responsive and I dont know what to do.

Try cleaning and relubing it…
Is there anything in the bearing seat?

Is there new silicone in there? Also, check the bearing seat. Also, even thin lube will make your yoyo more responsive at least for a little while.

If you de-sheilded it, then some hair or something may have gotten into your bearing, or there might be something in your bearing seat, like mitch said.
