My duncan skyhawk is not spining as long what should i do it just dies 5 seconds after i throw it please help me out

Thanks andy but my throw is the same as when i got the sky hawk and it just dies out thanks for tying to help thought dude i appreciate it

I have never seen inside the Skyhawk, but is there a bearing that can be cleaned? Maybe a new string will grip the bearing better for a tighter/longer throw?

It’s hard to know why that’s happening. My skyhawk works pretty well. Is the bearing dirty? Also it might be the pads, I had to change the pads pretty soon after I got the yoyo.

the stock pads are garbage, change them out or use silicone. clean the bearing. put staples behind the spacers to increase the gap
