# Duncan Freehand Zero Unresponsiveness?

So I just bought myself a duncan freehand zero to get into 5a, but i can’t seem to make the yoyo completely unresponsive, I’ve removed one response sticker like advised and cleaned the bearing, any suggestions as to how I can make it completely unresponsive? I’m not really a fan of being whacked in the hand because the yoyo responds randomly…

It should get more unresponsive as you play and wear the sticker. For more reliable unresponsiveness I’d recommend replacing the friction sticker with a Duncan 12mm silicone sticker.
Also, did you remove the shields from the bearing before cleaning? I find this to be very important for cleaning size A bearings.
