Ultimately, if you don’t want to pay for it, you don’t need to. No point trying to understand the price. If you try a $30 plastic and you feel it plays better than the more expensive polycarb freehand get that instead. If you love how polycarb freehand plays but don’t like the price, still, you don’t have to get one. you could make trades for one or buy a used one when the price is right for you.

Obviously no one is forcing me to buy this yoyo. Nor am I saying someone else can’t buy it if they think it’s worth it to them. But I think when you’re considering a purchase, wanting to know why one product is significantly more expensive than another is perfectly reasonable.

To Duncan’s credit, the yoyo looks cool aesthetically. Not trying to only point out the negatives.
