I assume you are being serious? how did you come by that information? I have always assumed it was their good old 7075. There is an 8000 series, but I can’t find information on the 9000 series. What makes it good for yo-yo material?

7075 with stainless rings. As far as I know, YYR has used 7075 for all their models since 2009 aside from the 2017 aluminum Sleipnir prototypes they had available at some point last year.
