# Draupnir 10th Anniversary Edition

This might be a long shot but I was wondering if Kengo is going to make a 10th anniversary of the old draupnir but still made at the [same factory](http://www.tokai-azumi.co.jp/) in tsu city and with the [original specs](https://yoyo.fandom.com/wiki/YoYoRecreation_Draupnir) from the first run, the chances might happen since they also made a 5th anniversary few years ago and it would be a bummer if it missed this year.

If they actually did a surprise release this summer it would be hype for hardcore yyr fans, man 2013 feels like yesterday huh.

I am right there with you, but i think it would have been more justifiable in 2021. 2023 is not the year for buying yo-yos!

Are you referring to the economy? Tuff to do a 10 year anniversary in the 8th year. 🙂

that would be not make sense for releasing a 10th anniversary run in 2021 since its 2 years too early

I meant it would make way more sense if it was the 10th year anniversary in 2021, because economic conditions were way better!
