Shockwave I just didn’t understand until one day I did it by accident and it just clicked for me. I do feel like a lot of the finer points of those tricks are not explained well in most videos though. And that makes it even harder. When I finally figured it out I went “why didn’t anyone tell me?” ---

When you Bang your yoyo off the floor and IT PLAYS SMOOTHER than it did BEFORE !!! Legitimately have about 4 instances where this happened and I swear , when I can’t “tune” a certain vibe out of a throw I honestly think for a second… “hmmm maybe if I smoke it off the floor like those a other ones :thinking:” But never have the stones to try it ON purpose :joy::joy::joy: ---

You bought some flame curly box elder to make yoyo’s with and it turns out the blank has inclusions through and through. So you make an extra thick salt holder box as a gift. It is natural but I was wrong on the wood. It’s Curly box elder. The red’s can be amazing in it. ---

Today an older lady walked up to me and asked if I can walk the dog (metal throw I’m using btw) and at first I silently laughed and smiled to myself thinking that she would be amazed by my awesome tricks and ask me a different question but sure enough that wasn’t the case. and about 10 seconds later she tells me again if I can walk the dog and I respectfully told her that yes I can walk the dog but unfortunately I’m using a metal yo-yo and don’t want to roll it on the ground so after that she told me to rock the baby and eventually left 😅 I’m sure some of y’all have had a similar case to mine so I want to see what your response is when someone tells you to walk the dog 😑😑😁 ---

I often practice in the local bars and when anyone yells “walk the dog!” I tell em it’ll cost a hundred bucks to see that trick. So far no takers but they shut up at least. Ivan ---

When you have been waiting for that mystery box for over a month…and it arrives and had the throw you were going for in it…and then out of all the throws in the box (4) that’s the only one you end up dinging on the first day.
