# Does it matter Where the shim is in the yoyo?

Does it matter Where the shim is in the yoyo? Like, on the axle or non-axle side? Does it affect play depending on which side its on?

I don’t thick it would have any effect on any thing unless you only have a response system on one side and have the shim on that side. But i highly doubt you do. later and remember keep it spinning.
