# Does anyone here know of a yo-yo similar to the hamr

i tried the atmos hamr again at a meet and it is still one of the nicest yoyos i have ever played with. it goes really fast if you want it to but still has some heft to it, feels really full when moving it around the string. are there any other throws that feel similar, and do atmos’ other titaniums feel like that?

hamr is pretty unique in their line up with the almost 1:1 form. seek one out for sure.

Smol is an awesome heavy-feeling yet fast undersized/mini but yeah, nothing is going to feel exactly like the Hamr. Or any yoyo exactly. Ekta is similarly heavy if you want to stick with Atmos but not the same feel (don’t know what you mean by similar; Lamina alpha and beta feel different with minor weight distribution). Just get the Hamr.

W1ld Adrenaline SS is compact, powerful, and pretty wide.

Second this ^^ I have a Hamr and an Adrenaline SS. You aren’t going to recreate the exact play feel of the Hamr but the Adrenaline SS comes pretty close in terms of play characteristics. Another similar throw would be the Canopy SS
Edit: Strung the three up just now and actually think the Canopy SS plays closer. Less rim weight, so not as stable as the Hamr, but otherwise feels pretty similar on the string
