Yep all ages. From the youngest at 6 years old (I’m not gonna count my 3 year old daughter) to the oldest being 85 and many many folks in-between. Over half the club are adults between 25 and 35 though. I imagine as we kick off the library partnership officially in the new year more young kids will join which will be neat.
I’m also slowly working out details for a DC area contest and eventually I want to partner with some south of current club to set meet ups in an alternative location on weekends that don’t overlap. Goals that I’m hoping to accomplish

We are officially on the library calendar. Legitimately took almost 8 months of back and fourth, background checks, interviews and coordination. I get why some folks say screw it I’ll just host it at my house.

Sorry not as familiar is that Norfolk area?
If so I know there are a couple of folks in that general area. I’ve chatted with a few people about doing a southern branch of DMV throw on an alternate weekend from what we normally meet on and hope to get something going in the new year on that front.
If you want to help coordinate we won’t fight getting help.

Yes, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Newport News. And Hampton. Been struggling to find anyone locally really.

3rd Sunday every month starting in January in the auditorium at the Arlington central library. So I think like Scoogy said 19th which is the day after VA states on the 18th in Richmond.
I considered canceling January but I’ll keep it and see if anyone traveling for va states decides to go toward DC area and drop I. To see us and just keep the consistency.

Our first official meet of 2025! Come out to the Arlington library next Sunday the 16th from 1-4pm to hang with the local community, learn tricks, try new yo-yos, and more. For the duration of 2025 we will have more regular meeting dates, with the 3rd Sunday of the month consistently reserved. See you there!
