I got a Dark Magic II yesterday and I tried putting in the speed bearing it came with to make it non-responsive. When I put in the bearing, there is no click, nothing to indicate it has locked into place, because it hasn’t locked in. Is there any reason why the speed bearing would not lock in to the yoyo?

Ditto with mine. It may grab a bit coming out, but I think they just made the seat loose so you could swap bearings easier.

It’s normal. It’s just that it doesn’t stay in the bearing seat. If you look at something like a Yomega Hotshot, it’s almost impossible to keep the bearing on the bearing seat.
