Well, on my DM will this work if done correctly:

Sand down the starburst, make a silicone recess groove silicone it.

Easier said than done, huh?

If you could do it perfectly it would work. I suggest you send it to Icthus he will do cheap and really well.

the process is tricky and if you dont have the right equipment avaliable to you it could be a massive failure, Ive done it and posted about it here:
