# DM Modification

I keep seeing these DM’s that have a recessed silicone/starburst response. Is that something you have to do yourself? If modded like that does it go 100% unresponsive?

Yeah, you do it yourself. However, you dont have to do that much to go completely unresponsive. Just clean the bearing, or break it in, adjust the gap, and you will be fine 🙂
