# DIY Hub Spike

Boredom = mod. I made my own hub spike fly with the tip of a mechanical pencil. Spun it out on a drill and shaped it with a Dremel. It works perfect, snaps in and spins with my hubs. 3 more to go.

Haven’t hit myself yet. It would hurt but its better than getting hit with a metal fixed spike. At least mine will pop off with enough force. Lots of fun though. Maybe I’ll make a quik how to make vid on the next one. This one fits all YYJ hubs.
