I agree that many of those colorways look super different from each other. Who would’ve thought that they were done by the same person ---

That is the saddest 28 stories they had. I actually really like the light one they had around 2011 like on the Avalanche and Chief, I remember thinking the OG Peak looked weird because I was used to those. ---

None of the 2nd run were pioneer from my memory but someone like @Elephark knows peaks much better than me. Sebby was a test with the new anodizer so some were different from others. Generally the dual orange sebby was the first from the new anodizer. Also would note just how much the 2nd run changed throughout the production At the tine the hulk smash was hated because of the overall feel of it compared to some of the other 2nd runs and the blast destroyed strings like no other. Then Jensen blew up and everyone wanted the colorway. ---

Gruntbull did all the 2nd runs - there is a huge variance in some colours, especially hulk smash as you’ve noted, but it’s likely just different batches as you say. Pioneer only did the original 28s, early runs of the BvM and handful of test ano first run peaks!
