Is there a way to delete existing messages in your inbox? I don’t need to keep record of all the messages/threads…

Indeed. Open the message, scroll to the bottom, and click the “topic controls” drop down. There you can archive the message.

Archive is a temporary band-aid. I’d like to completely remove/delete them - not have any record of the messages anymore.

go to the members of the message and delete yourself, this wont erase the content completely but cleans up your inbox.

Open the message…
Click on the 3 dots after the pencil symbol and the trash can comes up.
Click on the trash can.
