# Dark magic, or protostar?

I am getting one today. I cant decide which one though, and both are around the same price. For 1a, which on is better? Right now my favorite yoyo is the maverick.

I have tried the dark magic 1 and the protostar and I think that the protostar is a LOT better

Um my personal preference would definitely by the DM2 but the ProtoStar is very good as well.

I’d say, in order of overall play quality:

1: Dark Magic 2  
2: Protostar  
3: Dark Magic

Go with a protostar it will be a better yoyo because of it’s mad stability but it may be too advanced for you if this is true go with the dm
