# Da Vinci by Yoyofriends - Tomoki Toyama Signature YoYo!

The Da Vinci by yoyofriends is a signature yo-yo model designed with specific preferences in mind. Tomoki Toyama wanted a yo-yo that was slightly smaller in width and diameter to suit their hands better. They desired a bimetal yo-yo with an inverse shape that would offer long spin times, easy maneuverability, stability, and control without being too aggressive.

After several prototypes, they settled on a design that achieved their desired characteristics. The Da Vinci features a wide stainless steel rim, an H-profile inverse shape, and a slightly narrower width of around 44.5 mm. It excels in rotational power, lightness, and versatility, particularly in horizontal play.

The name “Da Vinci” was chosen to reflect the yo-yo’s versatility and the creator’s association with the famous polymath Leonardo da Vinci.

I was tempted by the acid wash too, but I’m not crazy about the rings. That black on black is pretty cool too.

This is the Titan Krios, one of the most powerful microscopes on the planet, only it knows and is able to see the space between my finger and the “add to cart” button on this yoyo.
This one from YYfriends looks soooo good and probably play even better

Yea that purple one looks amazing. I’m not a fan of darker green yoyos for some reason but that acid wash one is really unique looking with rainbow rings.
