Those look great. I also think it would be cool to contact YYE and see if they would have any interest in actually selling them. I’m sure they would at least like to see that they were made. 🙂

Seems like there is enough of an interest for me to continue some leather work. This was the first thing I have ever made with leather and I have to say it turned out just about as I planned it. I think that only happens when projects are as simple as this one was.
I am planning on going to the leather store next week, most likely on Saturday because they close before I could get there during the week. I am going to pick up some more leather remnants, snaps, grommets and some rivets. I was asked if I could do a bracelet, so I am gonna give that a shot.
Since I am gonna be picking up supplies, is anyone else seriously interested in something? I have not heard back from YYE yet, so I wont use that logo. But if you want something else I would be glad to do that. I just want to know before I go shopping in case I need to pick up any other things.
I took a look on etsy and there are a bunch of custom leather keychains for sale. I think most of them are charging way too much. I saw some for like $20 and they were hardly anything more complicated. I was thinking around $5 for a keychain and a little more for bigger things like a bracelet. If you want multiples I will make you a deal.
As always I look forward to your comments.

That looks really nice. Are you still working with leather for that design? I love the “X” somewhat cut out on this one too. It really has a nice appeal. Any contact with YYE yet, or are you waiting to finalize a design?

Hey guys,
I tried to post this before and it seems it didn’t work. So if somehow this ends up being a double post or something, I apologize ahead of time.
I was doing some laser etching for YoMagic’s Gambit, and while I was there I made a few more keychains and bracelets. I always learn a lot when I do this kind of stuff. I have never really worked with leather, but I have a few good friends that are really into it and giving me some great advice.

The bracelets turned out to be a little small for my wrists. They started out the correct size, but then when you braid it they shrink more than I expected. No worries, I will just make them a little longer next time. I wonder what I should do with these two bracelets though? ;D
I think I will mess around with staining the leather next and I have a few ideas. Maybe some bracers, belts, belt buckles, yoyo holsters, kendama holsters, wallets. So many new ideas to explore. If you got a cool idea PM me.
