agreed. Have you ever practiced 3x3 without inspection? I imagine that would help in 5x5x5 (unless you use some sort of yau method).

i haven’t specifically practiced it. But my cross is pretty good on 5x5. I can make crosses quite often even

There has only been 30 people ever to get a sub 1 single on 5x5 in a wca competition. 30 people!!!
I feel like its going from 10 seconds to 3 seconds on 2x2. Going from 3 seconds to 2 seconds seems harder.
But I guess its all preference.
But don’t you feel like you start massively slowing down as you approach sub 1???

i get what you mean and the last ten would be harder than the previous 10 for sure. But 47 seconds is a lot to make up.
I know guys that have gotten sub 1 singles after a few months of becoming serious about 5x5. And I certainly wouldn’t compare a sub 2 5x5 single to sub 10 on 2x2.

I like L’s the best cp recognize is super easy and ep isn’t to bad. After that T’s and U’s aren’t too bad. H has less algs but bad recognition. Most 2glls are nice to know as well.

I got it working, but just on a different computer. I don’t have access to the computer all the time, but that’s okay. Btw, is it possible to point out a certain move (such as M slices) without narrowing it down to anything?
I’m just trying to figure out certain commutators. Did any of that make sense?

oh. Yeah it allows slices. I just wish there was something that involved set up moves. I’m trying to figure out some 5 cycles, but the intuitional 5 cycles are longer than the computed ones. It’s like 5 more moves per cycle.

This is driving me crazy. Seriously, has no one ever thought of a 5 cycle before? I can’t find even the slightest hint of that anywhere.
Could you try to help me with this?
