# Cubing Corner

Do you know recognition of cll well? My recognition is this: find which of the seven cases it is. Turn the U until it is in my recognition position. Look at what the colors form. Sometimes it will be a pair of colors on the right, or an x formed by two pairs of colors or something else. So I actually don’t even know what my cll algorithms are doing. I can explain further if you didn’t understand.

My recognition is ok. I can identify sune and H cases well. Antisune ok. And U cases well.

I wouldn’t suggest using these algs, but it’s great for rcognition.

Not uwr. Rowe hessler had a .23 on yt a few years ago. Gj on the clls though, you might know more than me. Keep working on increasing tps though.
Oh and Stuart, when using m2, how do you set up an edge to ub when it is incorrectly oriented.

So after about a 11 days of playing with my new found half a hobby (because I Yoyo way more than I cube) I have been able to figure out what algorithm to use on my 2x2 (seemed like a good place to learn some fundamentals) but remembering the whole thing is kinda hard so I wrote all the scenarios down, So I guess my question is how do you actually memorize all of the moves is it through just sheer repetition or is there some kind of trick to it?

Mostly just repetition. Eventually you can break down the alg into various triggers which will make it easier but as you are just starting out it won’t help.

I have finals for school. I have taken breaks and gotten faster so hopefully that happens.
