But how do you ‘train’ to get faster? Just keep solving the cube or do you have to learn faster methods or something? ---

The main part for me personally is drilling my first two layers. So I plan the entire cross and usually my first pair during the 15 second inspection. Then I just try and make finishing the rest of the pairs as fast as possible. Last layer really just comes down to recognition and algs. ---

3x3 in 58 seconds in a van filled with smelly collegiate mountain bikers shouting at me. Also the Internet should formally change the name of the Megaminx to the Devil’s rubiks cube. There are pentagrams all over that thing and I am pretty sure you briefly gain the devil’s powers when you solve it. ---
