Hello everyone,

I must admit we got off on the wrong foot and I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

Hi, my name is Joseph V. (@joeyoo1998 on IG) and I am the developer of the (not-so-popular) Yoyo Pro Clicker App. I just want to say straight off the bat that the app is not vibe-coded. The app is my second project built from the Swift Programming Language developed for iOS app developers in Xcode. My first project was a mock-up of Flappy birds built from tutorials online.

I am a humble yoyo player as I have been throwing ever since 2010, on and off, because of school, work, and just life in general. After getting back to the yoyo scene recently in 2025, I’ve realized a lot of things has changed.

New yoyos, more advanced tricks, and a bigger community, of which naturally means more competitors.

Simply put, I want to provide to the yoyo community, hence the app, by putting all the tools needed to judge a yoyo contest in one inclusive app. I admit, if any of y’all have been keeping up with my posts, it has come to my attention that my approach was a tad bit aggressive. I deeply apologize and I will do better, I promise.

It is not meant to replace physical clickers entirely as they will always be around, but a convenient tool to have around with the same functionality. Instead of two physical clickers, pen & paper for major deductions and judging scores, I have implemented ALL of the features in one app.

I truly think that this app will provide you and future competitors a lot of value and I humbly ask all of you for your support.
